'Teen Wolf' season 5B plot: Can Scott reunite the pack in upcoming episodes?

Beacon Hills is currently silent at the moment, but it does not mean that the pack is not preparing something big when MTV's "Teen Wolf" returns for the second half of season 5 early next year.

In "Teen Wolf" season 5A's final episode, Theo (Cody Christian) successfully defeated Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack by instigating an internal chaos between Scott and Liam (Dylan Sprayberry). The newcomer also managed to kill Scott when Liam left to rush to Hayden (Holland Roden), but Melissa (Melissa Ponzio) fortunately arrived to revive him.

But Theo's ruthlessness did not stop there. Theo later on headed toward Lydia's (Holland Roden) place and left her in a catatonic state when he accessed her memories.

It seems like the doctors and Theo managed to win this round, but this will not be the case in the second half of the season.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, series creator Jeff Davis shared the production team's plans for "Teen Wolf" season 5. "We're going to change that a little bit for 5B because the Doctors have essentially succeeded, but we're still going to be scary."

He added a few tidbits of what's in store in the second half of the season, saying, "We're treating season 5B like a big monster movie. We've got some more surprises in store for our creatures next season, and now that Theo has his dark chimera pack, he's going to be causing a lot of trouble for Scott as well."

Davis also revealed that a lot of questions left during the season 5A finale will be answered when the series returns next year. But it does not mean that everything will be answered right away. "You'll learn gradually what everyone's role is in this approaching cataclysmic battle that you're going to see," the series creator said.

MTV has yet to announce the release date of "Teen Wolf" season 5B.
