The 11th season of "Supernatural" will begin airing this week, which means that the new danger that the Winchester brothers will encounter will now have a face.

The CW recently released a new creepy two-minute trailer that teases some of the most chilling scenes in the upcoming season.

Based on the trailer, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) Winchester are in big trouble after accidentally unleashing The Darkness, their most horrifying enemy yet in the history of the series. The creep factor is further increased because of the song "O, Death" by Jen Titus playing in the background.

Some of the scenes featured in the trailer show the Winchester brothers riding Dean's signature Impala automobile and wandering across a hall filled with blood, dead people, a spooky mascot and clown, who seems to be tormenting a hospital patient.

The Darkness will challenge the Winchester brothers. The new big villain has existed since the pre-biblical times. But the network has yet to reveal who will portray the role of the most dangerous enemy featured on the show.

Castiel (Misha Collins) is also featured in the trailer, and he does not look good. In the previous season of "Supernatural," Castiel was placed under Rowena's (Ruth Connell) curse. Last month, "Supernatural" executive producer Jeremy Carver told TVLine that Castiel has a lot on his hands when the new season premieres this week. "Castiel, first and foremost, has to find a way out of this spell that Rowena has cast on him. That's not as easy as it may sound. Being under the influence of this spell, it's going to lead him to some pretty uncomfortable situations," the executive producer said.

"Supernatural" season 11 premieres on Wednesday, October 7, on The CW.
