Cartoon Network's teaser trailer for a brand-new episode of "Steven Universe" has revealed a shocking plot twist: Sadie is missing, and someone is looking for a father.

The trailer, which was posted on Twitter, first showed Steven laughing about his adventures in the previous episodes of the show. It then cut to him saying goodbye to Sadie. In the next clip, he finds out that his friend went missing. The trailer also showed Steven being smashed against a tree and Pearl crying uncontrollably.

Toward the end of the clip came another surprise for fans. A small voice can be heard asking, "Are you my dad?" This question shocked fans, and it has led many to ask who said the question.

In related news, four new episodes for "Steven Universe" is already scheduled to be aired and the synopses of the four episodes were already released.

The first one will feature Connie realizing the importance of spending quality time with her family after she and Steven hung out with her father. The next episode will show Steven, Lars, and Sadie being invited to join a group of cool kids. The third episode will feature the disappearance of some individuals from Beach City, with places in town previously filled by people suddenly becomes empty. This is probably the episode where Sadie will go missing. The last episode will show Steven and his mother arguing after he accuses her that she is part of the cause of everything that happened to him.

The first new episode, titled "Doug Out," will premiere on May 8 on Cartoon Network. The new episodes were originally thought to be for season 5 until Cartoon Network clarified that these are the remaining episodes of season 4. Some have also expressed concern that the show is in danger of cancellation, especially since the released trailer was primarily made up of recycled clips.
