Stephen Amell is one respected actor in The CW Network. He has paved the way for DC Comic superheroes to come full circle in live action TV. His show "Arrow" also paved the way for the spin-off "The Flash," also in the same network.

In an interview with WSJ, Amell talked about his readiness to do a "Green Arrow" movie. It appears like Amell is not yet ready to shift his focus as he has a lot on his plate with the "Arrow" episodes right now.

"I am completely indifferent. First of all, wanting a movie undersells the idea that making 23 episodes a year isn't a huge achievement," Amell said. "It is difficult to me to want or envision an 'Arrow' movie when we are shooting the 10th episode of our third season with 13 more episodes to go and in all likelihood 3 more seasons on the other side of that."

WSJ then asked Amell about the controversy surrounding the casting of "The Flash" the movie. He was also asked if "Green Arrow" film were to be made, would he like to play it?

"Yeah. Of course. And I feel like it should be Grant doing the movie," he answered. "But the important thing to remember is just because Grant Gustin plays the part of Barry Allen doesn't mean Ezra Miller can't also play Barry Allen. There can be different interpretations of the character."

In the premiere episode of season 3, Sara Lance died. Amell was asked whether he was surprised to know that this was going to happen. The actor said that he has learned not to be surprised anymore when it comes to the show, although he did feel emotional about not working with his friend Caity Lotz anymore.

At the San Diego Comic-Con, Amell willingly showed his well-define abs to the audience. WSJ asked if he does anything unusual to keep them. He said that it's about motivation, and he works out with the thought that it's his job.

But while the actor thinks that his physique isn't the reason for the show's success, he believes that looking fit helps his character become more believable as a superhero.
