The 2016 Steam Summer Sale has begun. As with previous sale events, the game list is a mix between classic titles and recent releases like "Just Cause 3."

On the list on the Steam website, the new "Just Cause 3" game is now available for around $15, or at least half the original price. In addition, a 50-percent discount is also currently available for "Just Cause 3 XL," with a price tag of around $25. This bundle set comes with the game and a Season Pass for the "Air, Land, and Sea" DLC packs. Maenwhile, "Just Cause 3" is also bundled with a copy of "Rise of Tomb Raider," listed with a 55 percent on the original bundle price. The DLC packs for the game are also available as individual add-ons.

Not only is the Steam Summer Sale 2016 listed with different game titles with huge discounts, but some of the lists also reflect special bundles for hardcore fans, particularly with some follow-up sequels coming out soon. According to PCWorld, one noted deal is for the "Deus Ex" bundle, which includes the original "Deus Ex," "Deus Ex: Invisible War," "Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut," and "Deus Ex: The Fall." The industry follower predicts that this bundle will be a hit to hardcore fans of the franchise, particularly since a new follow-up, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is set to release in August.

For casual gamers who are more into genre than specific titles, Steam has also listed genre-related bundles on this year's Summer Sale. Different deals are available for JRPG, survival games, first-person puzzle titles, and others. While the listed bundles only offer around 10 to 15 percent off in discounts, Ars Technica says that this is already on top of the discounts on each individual game in the bundle.

The 2016 Steam Summer Sale is expected to end on July 4.
