With all the news about possible bendable phones from Samsung, and with LG also having its own, people wonder what direction Samsung is taking with the Samsung Galaxy S9. Although leaks of the upcoming flagship have appeared before, many of them have only revealed the color variants it is expected to arrive with.

Generally, Samsung Galaxy S8 users would not exactly be surprised by the S9 model. The two share similar characteristics that may not entirely be a bad thing since the S8 itself does look quite sleek. However, it is more likely for the S9+ model to have some major differences especially having newer features.

As for the new leaks found by WinFuture, they revealed the Galaxy S9 featured in four different colors: Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, Midnight Black and Titanium Gray. While the Midnight Black one may not be new, the first two are interesting additions to the Galaxy colors. Note, however, that the images shared are not official, thus take the info with a grain of salt.

In terms of the specs of the new S9 models, there is one important feature that remained, the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The camera, of course, is one feature to be improved on. Afterall, phones on the Galaxy S series always have the best camera. For the S9, it will have a new dual-lens camera.

There will also be a fingerprint sensor and a heart rate monitor. However, with new features, it will cost a lot more battery consumption. That said, it seems proper for the new model to get a more powerful battery. Some rumors suggest that the battery would now be 3,000 mAh battery. The S9+ will have 3,500 mAh battery.

Since these are all just rumors, tech enthusiasts are advised to wait for any official announcements about the new S9. That should probably not take long since it has been a while since the release of the S8.
