Samsung Galaxy Note 3 vs LG G2 specs, price comparison: Which phablet is right for you?

LG G2

Over a dozen high-end smartphones were released in year 2013 boasting HD screens and super-fast processors.

The phablet market has grown considerably in the last couple of years, beginning with the launch of Samsung's first Galaxy Note line in 2011.

This year, Samsung's third generation Galaxy Note 3 surpassed sales of 10 million within two months of its launch, and remains on top of the smartphone list this year.

Among the top smartphone contenders is the LG G2 phablet.

Korean company has bounced back into the mobile market with its latest device, which boasts a massive 5.2 inch HD display.

LGs flagship phone is not quite as large as the Note 3, but boasts impressive specs.

The 5.2 inch HD display with 1080 x 1920p is super sensitive and feels great to the touch. The phone packs a 13 megapixel camera with advanced optical image stabilization, 2GB RAM, and blazing fast Qualcomm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. The 3000 mAh battery keeps the device going all day, and its 32GB storage is enough to store all your favorite apps and snaps.

The Galaxy Note 3

The Note 3 has a bigger 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, a 2.3GHz quad-core LTE processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB storage options. It also packs a powerful 13 megapixels and 1.9-megapixel front camera with 1080p/60 video recording, including options for impressive 4K video.

The Note 3 has a massive 3200 mAh. Keep in mind that the battery is slightly bigger than the LG G2's but that's because the Note 3 in general is bigger. Both devices have been highly commended for the long battery life.

The Note 3 comes with its S-Pen with its new Air command feature, which give users access to functions like the Action Memo and Scrapbook.

The LG G2 lacks the features of the S Pen, but its size is more manageable than the Note 3, which many some will find too large for their convenience.

Most carriers are selling the LG G2 for $99.99 with a new two-year contract. The Galaxy Note 3 is being sold for $199.99 with a new two-year contract.
