With the release of the Galaxy S7 series, Samsung seems to be turning now to expand its mid-range handsets, as suggestions indicate that the next iteration to come out will be the Galaxy A9 Pro. While a specific date has not been set yet, it seems that the roll-out date is fast approaching as leaks continue to crop up.

According to SamMobile, the latest leak to point out to the Galaxy A9 Pro's imminent release is its supposed user manual floating online. Aside from confirming that documentation is ready for the upcoming iteration, the user manual also revealed some of the details on the specs and design of the new Galaxy A9 Pro.

The industry observer stated that while the new smartphone is an upgraded version of the Galaxy A9, it will still use the same 4,000 mAh battery, giving the Galaxy A9 Pr0 the same standby time of 429 hours. It is also confirmed that the upcoming offering will have dual-SIM capacity.

Another hint that the Galaxy A9 Pro will be released soon is its development status. According to Gadgets by NDTV, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A-series addition already passed the certifications needed before release. Listed in TENAA, the certification is documented by images, and the industry follower observed that the new Galaxy A9 Pro bears strong similarities with its base model variant, at least in terms of the design.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A9 Pro is said to run on an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, at least 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal storage. Dimension-wise, the new Galaxy A9 Pro will have a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. In addition, it will feature Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box, as well as as a 16MP main shooter on the back.
