In the next episode of "Riverdale," Archie Andrews (K.J.Apa) and Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) reach a crossroad in their relationship.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "House of the Devil" was just released recently and showed Andrews and Lodge kissing each other lovingly at school and in his house. It appears that their relationship has somewhat deepened since they got together. "I love you Ronnie," Andrews says to her as they both lay in bed. Lodge opens her eyes and seems to be concerned about something. "I want to be with you. Can't that be enough for right now?" she says to him. It seems that there is something that Andrews wants but Lodge cannot commit to that request at the moment. She is shown later crying and covering her face.

Meanwhile, Jughead Jones's (Cole Sprouse) dad FP (Skeet Ulrich) is set to be released from jail. He was imprisoned because he refused to cooperate with the police regarding a murder. However, it seems like some strings may have been pulled in order for him to be freed. Jughead informs Andrews and Lodge that his dad is getting out of jail and wants them to continue the Black Hood investigation. In the meantime, he is going to prepare a welcome party with the Serpents to ease FP into his former life as the leader of the Southside gang.

In the last episode, Penny Peabody (Brit Morgan) asked Jughead to return a favor to help her deliver a mysterious crate to a designated location. FP warned his son not to accept any favors from Peabody because people who did usually ended up dead or in prison. Jughead was now stuck in this unfortunate predicament.

"Riverdale" season 2 episode 8 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
