In the next episode of "Riverdale," Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) finds herself at the center of the dangerous mystery with the shooter.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" was just released recently and showed Cooper getting a letter with her name on it out of her bag. It is seemingly from the mysterious shooter called the Black Hood. "I got a letter. He is doing it for me," Cooper says fearfully to her friends. Her life may now be seriously in danger because the Black Hood apparently has his eyes set on her. Written in her letter is a set of codes that have yet to be deciphered. The interpretation of the message to Cooper may not bode well for her, as well as her friends and family.

With Cooper caught in the middle of the mystery, she does not want to tell everything to her boyfriend Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) because he has his own issues to deal with himself. His father happens to be in jail for holding back evidence in a recent investigation. Jones is also a member of the Southside Serpents and has to adjust to a new high school that is filled with juvenile delinquents. It remains to be seen if Cooper will be able to stay out of danger and if Jones will find out about her precarious situation.

In the last episode, Archie Andrews (K.J. Apa) formed a support group composed of his football friends who would primarily serve as watchdogs for the high school community. He also created this group to catch the mysterious Black Hood. Andrews named the watchdogs the "Red Circle" after his favorite comics as a kid.

"Riverdale" season 2 episode 4 will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
