'Revenge' season 4 premiere date, spoilers: Victoria Grayson's time for revenge next season

"Revenge" Season 4 will be back in a few weeks and the network has released its new promo trailer and poster with the tagline, "What goes around, comes around." It clearly sends a message that while Emily Thorne may have achieved her revenge, it's going to come back and bite her hard, courtesy of Victoria Grayson.

Season 4 will show tons of things, but one thing is clear: it will be an all-out war between Emily and Victoria, which is always good TV. The promo features Victoria talking about how Emily destroyed her life and how she will extract revenge.

Another thing that proves that season 4 will be about Victoria Grayson's revenge is the inclusion of new cast member, Nestor Serrano, who is set to play Edward Alvarez. Alvarez is a police officer who will be helping Victoria.

Executive producer Sunil Nayar told TV Line, "We're just starting to explore his character right now."

"He's a friend of Victoria's on the force who really has her back at a time when she needs someone to have her back," Nayar said.  "We're not sure exactly where we're headed with the character, but we like the idea of her having an ally in a position of an authority."

Nayar also shared a few more things to TV Fanatic about Season 4. He said, "I think the season premiere is going to be full of surprises, full of unexpected payoffs to our cliffhangers and I think the big question that we're looking to answer this year as Emily and Victoria and as David comes back this year is that people are asked to change who they are yet again and that is really the battle of who people have been."

That's right, David Clarke will be back and Amanda Clarke doesn't have an idea that her father is alive.

"Revenge" Season 4 will return on Sept. 28 on ABC at 10 p.m.
