The Litchfield inmates won't be back until next year for "Orange is the New Black" season 4. Given that, the cast and crew deem it too early to spill some spoilers, although they once in a while do some interviews to shoot down or confirm rumors about the new season.

Fans hope that Ruby Rose, who was easily a fan favorite on the show when she debuted as Stella in the series last season, will return. This is difficult to pull off though, with the character sent to maximum security prison after filching Piper's business profits.

Moviepilot suggests that Stella's story could continue in "Orange is the New Black" season 4 by having her befriend Nicky, who is in the same maximum security prison. From there, they can team up to do all sorts of mayhems.

Meanwhile, fans of the Netflix hit web-series also look forward to seeing more of Alex and Piper together. While the former has been attacked by an assassin last season, Laura Prepon, who plays the character, has been reassuring fans on social media that no hired gun will take her down.

This has had fans hoping that Piper and Alex's relationship will once again blossom in "Orange is the New Black" season 4. When asked about the premise, Prepon, after promising that timid Alex is no more and her character was made more "empowered," gave an answer that had fans on tenterhooks.

"You can't control where your heart goes" the actress told TV Guide. "Alex and Piper will always have a connection, and I definitely think that if Alex needed her or she needed Alex, they would be there for each other completely," Prepon went on to say.

What this could mean is that Piper will not hesitate to come to Alex's defense and stay by her side whatever her situation is after the attack. "Orange is the New Black" season 4 premieres next year.
