'One Piece' chapter 838 spoilers, predictions: fight between Luffy vs. Cracker to continue as Luffy goes to Gear 4th

 Shonen Jump

The fight between Luffy and Cracker may culminate in the upcoming chapter of pirate manga hit "One Piece," as Luffy already went up a notch and activated Gear Fourth.

Previously, it was revealed that Cracker is actually Charlotte Cracker, tenth son of Yonkou Big Mom and one of the top executives of Big Mom's crew. Cracker has chanced upon Luffy and his friends in the Seducing Woods, and a fight ensued.

It is also confirmed that Cracker is one of the top fighters in the Big Mom Pirates, as he is in possession of a special weapon dubbed as Pretzel. In addition, Cracker can multiply his arms to add to his attacking strength, tagging him as the "Thousand Arms Cracker," and he can also manipulate haki just like Luffy.

In the closing pages of the previous chapter, Luffy has had no choice but to use his formidable Gear Fourth in order to penetrate Cracker's Hard Biscuit shield, shattering it to pieces. However, it is foreshadowed that Cracker may still be not out for the count. This week's chapter is expected by fans to continue where the fight left off, since Cracker is expected to reveal his true powers, with Luffy gearing up to use his ample arsenal of Gear Fourth moves.

Meanwhile, last week's chapter also showed Nami and Lola's father, Pound, ganging up on Charlotte Brulee. While Brulee was seemingly defeated by Nami's Thunderbolt Tempo, it was also revealed that more hardened fighters stand in their way, as Brulee let it slip that aside from Luffy's crew, some of the pirates from the "Worst Generation" like Captain Kidd and Scratchman Apoo, also wandered in their territory, only to be beaten back.

Luffy and some of his crew traveled to Big Mom's territory to recover Sanji, who has been roped into an arranged marriage with one of Big Mom's daughters.
