"No Man's Sky" fans will be disappointed at the fact that the game's release date has not been announced.

It was initially expected that the release date for the game would be revealed last week by game designer himself, Sean Murray, during an appearance in the "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," but apparently, there was no word about it.

However, fans can be a bit hopeful since a release date announcement may be happening at the Paris Games Week, Design&Trend reported.

This news reportedly came from popular game leaker Tidux, who said that "No Man's Sky" release date will happen at the said conference, which will take place on Oct. 27.

That's not the only scoop the leaker gave; it was also reported that "No Man's Sky" will come with a special price.

While it is expected that the game may come with a $60 price tag, rumors state that PlayStation Plus subscribers will enjoy a discount, but no specific amount has been given.

These rumors have not been confirmed and nothing has been set on stone, so fans will just have to wait for more updates.

Meanwhile, "No Man's Sky" gameplay demo was recently shared by Murray during his appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," increasing fan's anticipation for the release date.

In the demo, Murray showcased five new planets for a player to explore in the game. There were also new creatures as well as materials that a player can use to create weapons.

It was also reported by Latinos Post that there's a device that resembles "Pokedex," which lets players give a name to different aliens that they've encountered during their exploration on a certain planet.

"No Man's Sky" was first unveiled in 2013 during the Spike VGX awards, Game Informer reported. Since then, gamers have been waiting for the actual release of the game.
