The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) team in Los Angeles is going to deal with a heist in episode 22 of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "Golden Days" reveals that the team will be working on a heist involving gold. The episode will be extra special, as the team will work with Hetty's (Linda Hunt) former colleagues from the Vietnam War, namely, Retired Admiral A.J. Chegwidden (John M. Jackson), Admiral Sterling Bridges (James Remar), and Retired Captain Charles Langston (Carl Lumbly).

The promotional preview of episode 22 shows the NCIS team learning about the robbery involving about $40 million worth of gold. After which, the investigators race to track down the suspects of the heist, but soon they realize that the crime is more than just a simple robbery.

In the clip, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) tells the team to forget about a turf war, as this case seems to lead to a real war. They learn that they are dealing with dangerous criminals who are not afraid to set a car ablaze to threaten them.

Sam (LL Cool J) looks determined and commits to catching every criminal and gang that disturbs the peace in Los Angeles. Toward the end of the sneak peek, the police and the suspects seem to be on a gun fight. Will the NCIS team catch the criminals before they create an even bigger chaos?

Meanwhile, the summary for episode 23 titled "Uncaged" has also been revealed. The synopsis hints that Sam's wife will be kidnapped. In exchange for her freedom, the criminals will ask Sam's main enemy, Tahir Khaled, to be released from prison. The last two episodes of the show are expected to focus on Sam and his family.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8 episode 22 airs on Sunday, April 30, at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS. On the other hand, episodes 23 and 24 will air on May 7 and May 14, respectively.
