Natasha Bedingfield and husband Matthew Robinson welcome their first child, a baby boy, on New Year's Eve.

The British-born singer certainly knows how to end the year with a "Pocketful of Sunshine" as seen in her latest Instagram post, where Bedingfield posed for a snap, still in her hospital gown, while holding up a Starbucks cup labeled "Mum."

"Omg! Guess what just happened at the very end of this year! The happiest new Year ever," she said in the caption.

The little boy, whose name they have yet to reveal, arrives after eight years of marriage for the couple, finally fulfilling her 2007 hit song "I Wanna Have Your Babies." Just a day before she gives birth, the 36-year-old crooner said her "favorite memory of this year is being blessed with the promise of a baby boy."

Bedingfield revealed her pregnancy back in October, when she posted a snap of her and husband Robinson, who were both tenderly holding her growing baby bump. "We can't wait to embark on this amazing journey together," she shared.

She was obviously already several months into her pregnancy when she made the announcement, but the "Unwritten" singer did not fall short of baby updates since then.

In November, Bedingfield made a "fun gender reveal" through the music video for her single "Hey Boy," which she also kicked off via social media.

The singer described the release of the song, which talks about how to be a real man in a world of abuse, as a "pivotal time" for her to bring a baby boy into the world.

Fresh from giving birth, the singer returned to her home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, as photographed by the Daily Mail. She was not with her little one, but she was accompanied by her look-alike mother, who was smiling gleefully behind her.
