The Broncos are the top offensive team in the NFL at the moment – that much is clear to everyone. They have lit up the NFL over the first two weeks of play and fans are expecting more fireworks tonight.
The Broncos are ranked first in the entire league for total points scored on average per game (45 points), as well as ranked first for total yards gained per game (462 yards), and also pass yards gained on average per game (376 yards).
Of course, veteran Peyton Manning has been pulling all the strings for the Broncos offensive plays and he is the quarterback envy of the league right now. He has completed 57 throws from 85 attempts for 769 yards and a massive nine touchdowns through the first two weeks of the regular season.
The Broncos destroyed the Baltimore Ravens 49-27 in week 1, before trashing Peyton's younger brother Eli Manning and the New York Giants in week 2 in another big 41-23 win.
Ninety points from two games has been amazing, and if they keep up this pace, it is doubtful anyone can stop them.
The Raiders will have a massive challenge today, and so far they have shown few signs of showing they have what it takes to bring down the Broncos. They were defeated by the Indianapolis Colts in week 1, 17-21, and although they won in weeks 2, it was a relatively modest affair as they defeated the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars 19-9.
