The Electronic Entertainment Expo or more commonly known as E3 is happening in the next few months. Bethesda has recently announced its plans for the E3 and now Microsoft has its own plans revealed, which is dedicated to their Xbox franchise. It looks like things will be a lot different for Microsoft this year.

Microsoft usually would set up its booth at the venue, which is at the Los Angeles Convention. However, the company is apparently setting up its own shop at the theater near LA Live. The shop will focus on promoting Mixer, which for those who do not know, is an alternative to Twitch where gamers can stream, watch and interact with other gamers.

Mixer, the website, will also be streaming live news for the whole week for those who cannot make it to the E3. The briefing will happen at the Microsoft Theater two days before E3, that is, June 10, 2018. It will most likely be streamed just as they did the previous years.

While most of the news can already be caught online via streaming, nothing beats being at the event itself. The Microsoft Theater will have a lot of gameplay for their upcoming games and several demos gamers can try out.

"Not only does the Microsoft Theater allow us to centralize our Xbox presence at E3, but it's (sic) enables us to include even more fans and partners in the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing than ever before," said Microsoft, per Polygon.

Microsoft's big changes will come in response to the changes that happened within the E3 itself. This year's E3, for those who are not aware, will be open to the public and will have longer show hours. That said, anyone can expect thousands of players coming in to join the event. Of course, again, there is always the live stream option for those who cannot come.
