Meryl Davis, Maksim Chmerkovskiy update: Maks returning to 'Dancing With The Stars'?

Dancing with the Stars 2014 winner is Meryl Davis.

Fans of the last season's "Dancing With The Stars" winners Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are still hoping that Chmerkovskiy would return to the show this coming season. Sadly, the professional dancer has confirmed that he won't be doing so.

"I'm done dancing [on DTWS]," Chmerkovskiy told E! Online. "I feel like it's time."

However, there is still hope for Chmerkovskiy fans. While he may not return as a dancer in "DWTS," there is still a chance that he will return as a judge.

Aside from feeling like it's time to stop dancing, Chmerkovskiy believes that it's time for the younger pros to shine. He also made it clear that he is exiting the show without any bad blood with the show's producers.

"I loved the experience," Chmerkovskiy continued. "When I came back, it was not the same... I was different, probably. Maybe I was in my head before, and certain things aggravated me unnecessarily. And when I came back, I saw amazing talent, Val {Chmerkovskiy] included, the new pros, some people that I haven't worked with. And I looked at it and I was like they can do much more and so much better, I was taking up a huge spot."

What about Chmerkovskiy's dating rumors? First, there was his partner Davis and now, it's Jennifer Lopez. Who is he really dating? It's not Davis. Chmerkovskiy cleared the air when he told Social Life that he's just gotten close to some of his past dancing partners.

"Three months is a long time, and if I am going to give someone that much of my time, I am going to develop a relationship with that person. ... I want Meryl to be the last person I dance with, the last person I got to be passionate with and care so much for," says Chmerkovskiy. And that's about it for them.

On the other hand, the pro dancer had been seen several times with Lopez, where they're seen getting cozy and flirty with one another. A source told People that "They were flirting. They were dancing very close... they had a lot of fun together."

Lopez denies the dating rumors, while Chmerkovskiy doesn't really like talking about his love life. Guess we all just have to wait and see who will Chmerkovskiy officially date and if he will become an official judge in "Dancing With The Stars" 2014.
