It was previously rumored that Apple is planning to launch the new MacBook Pro during its September event. However, the press launch concluded with only the iPhone 7 as its focus. Accordingly, it is said that, because of the massive changes to some of Apple's lineups, like the 2016 MacBook Pro, the company is thinking of another launch next month. Ostensibly, this press event will focus on the new MacBook Pro, as well as other laptop series like a new MacBook Air. There are also talks that the much-awaited iPad Air 3 may also appear.
Having a separate launch event for the 2016 MacBook Pro is highly likely. According to supposed leaks, the new Pro iteration underwent massive improvements, the first major update after four years.
