In the next episode of "Lethal Weapon," Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and his partner Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) investigate a conspiracy involving an Elvis Presley impersonator.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Fools Rush In" was just released recently and showed a scene from Hollywood Boulevard in front of the famous Chinese Theater where impersonators of past famous celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson hang out to ply their trade with tourists from out-of-town. Riggs is later shown interrogating a suspect involved in a strange incident in that Hollywood area.

"Something crazy is going on right here in LA. Elvis is controlling traffic," the suspect says to Riggs who is utterly surprised. Murtaugh seems to be more skeptical and says, "He is a conspiracy theorist. The guy is insane." By that time, Riggs starts to think that their suspect might actually be telling the truth.

The two cops investigate an apartment where they come across papers of information posted on the wall. There also appears to be a map of directions and laid-out plans of events that may or may not have happened. It seems that the conspiracy may be true after all. Later, the actual Elvis Presley impersonator is shown with a device controlling traffic lights in the downtown area. Riggs and Murtaugh attempt to capture the perpetrator in the tourist-laden district.

In the last episode, the two cops investigated a murder in a hospital which led them to the underground mob. Their snooping around landed them in a container facility where they had to escape some thugs by swinging off a metal wire to get to the ground. They were able to escape but Murtaugh was not too thrilled about leaping from a high elevation.

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 9 will arrive on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
