More than 100 new characters will be added to the upcoming "Lego Marvel's Avengers."

The upcoming game will be the sequel to 2013's "Lego Marvel Super Heroes." The more than 100 new characters will be made up of both heroes and villains.

According to the game's director Alan Parsons, the cast of characters will include additions from all the films of the "Avengers" franchise, including the initial film, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and all the other movies still set to premiere.

Aside from the movies, the new game will also be taking characters from comic books and cartoons that are part of the "Avengers" franchise, according to Polygon.

Some of the characters already expected to be in "Lego Marvel's Avengers" include the lead characters from the most recent film. This includes Black Widow, Captain America, Iron Man, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Thor and Vision. Also confirmed to be included in the new game are America Chavez, Crossbones, Detroit Steel and Wiccan, each coming from different segments of the Marvel universe.

Aside from the new characters coming to "Lego Marvel's Avengers," there will be some extra special additions evoking the likeness of none other than Stan Lee.

According to IGN, Stan Lee will be featured in two ways inside the game. The first will be as Iron Stan, which will feature the iconic comic book pioneer wearing his very own Iron Man armor. Lee's Iron Stan armor will even feature his trademark mustache on the helmet.

The second version of Stan Lee in the game will feature him as the Stan-Buster. Taking inspiration from the massive Hulk-Buster armor featured in the second "Avengers" film, the same type of character model will be used for Lee, with the addition of some distinct features such as his glasses and familiar cardigan, button-down combo being incorporated into the design.

"Lego Marvel's Avengers" will be released around the 2015 holiday season for all platforms.
