Kim Kardashian West news: Calls out Lamar Odom to defend Khloe

Reality television star and social media influencer Kim Kardashian West sounded off on social media to defend the name of her sister, Khloe Kardashian, after Khloe's ex-husband, former National Basketball Association player (NBA) Lamar Odom, made some remarks in a recent interview he had on the BET talk show. It appears that Kim took offense to one of the remarks Odom said alluding to Khloe's penchant for dating NBA players.

In one of the video clips showing the interview, Odom was asked about his past relationship with Khloe. At first, he stated that he is already over with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, but then he proceeded to say that "when she was with her second or third NBA ball player, you know, I could see that." After Odom made these comments, other people present laughed, which is probably why Kim took offense to the comments by the former player.

Kim responded with a loaded remark on Twitter with the caption, "Or second or third brothel" -- which alludes to a specific incident wherein Odom had to be rushed to the hospital by Khloe back in 2015. At that time, Odom was in a brothel in Nevada, and was found on the floor, unconscious. As it turned out, the former L.A. Lakers power forward overdosed on some drugs, and eventually led to him being comatosed for a brief period.

Kim's tweet was an obvious sign of her taking initiative to defend her sister, especially since it is publicly known that Odom not only had problems in dealing with narcotics but also with staying faithful to Khloe back when they were still married. The two got married back in 2009, but ended up divorced after four years of being together. Odom had to get checked into a rehabilitation facility and was released in 2016.

At this point, neither Odom nor Kim has confronted each other head-on about the former NBA player's remarks on BET.
