Kate Middleton news: Duchess of Cambridge continues to successfully manage family life amid social work

Keeping up with a busy work schedule has not prevented Kate Middleton from being a hands-on housewife and mother and she even manages to keep a healthy lifestyle.

Just recently, she accompanied Prince William on a tour of India's communities, with focus on the region's street children and their families. The Mirror reports that the couple went to visit the Salaam Baalak drop-in center for charity at a Delhi train station. The charity is located in the vicinity not just for convenience but for a bigger reason, as it is revealed that as many as 6,600 children travel to the locale each year, ostensibly to run away from home because of poverty or family problems.

According to charity director Sanjoy Roy, the work continues as they "look after around 7000 kids a year, but every day around 40 to 50 new children arrive at the station. They often have to deal with trauma, learning difficulties, ADHD and we have special programmes to help them with that."

Meanwhile, as part of the Indian tour, the royal couple also went to lunch with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as honor the soldiers by visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in India's National Memorial.

Although the Duchess of Cambridge is busy enough with her and her husband's social works, she still finds time to care both for the family and herself. According to US Weekly, she recently revealed that she keeps fit unintentionally, as she quipped, "I am running after my kids."

As for Kate Middleton's always-smiling face, a guest at a recent party reportedly asked the Duchess, "Aren't you tired of smiling?" to which Kate graciously replied, "I'm just reciprocating. Everyone is so warm."

The royal couple now has to juggle their work with a growing family, as Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge now have two kids – Prince George, going on 3 years old, and Princess Charlotte, who will turn a year old next month.
