Justin Bieber leaves jail PHOTOS: Waves to fans as Beliebers swarm to Miami police station

Justin Bieber fans have swarmed to the Miami police station where the pop star was held. A photo has been posted on Twitter with dozens of "Beliebers" forming a heart shape in support of Bieber.

Fans have also tweeted photos of the pop star leaving the police station. One photo shows the pop star waving his hand to fans as he gets in a car.

The 19-year-old was arrested early Thursday morning after police officers pulled him over for drag racing in a residential area. The pop star appeared before a Miami judge at 1p.m. today where he was set $2500 bail on charges of DUI and resisting arrest.

Beliebers reacted on Twitter following the breaking news of his arrest.

Last week, Justin Bieber's mom Pattie Mallete asked fans to pray for her son, who was caught up in an egging scandal in which he caused $20,000 worth of damages to his neighbor's house.

She urged fans to pray for her son and to not condemn him during this time in his life. She told The Sun: "I think so many people go into the entertainment industry with amazing Christian roots, and get influenced somehow."

She continued, "If Justin's struggling, don't kick him when he's down or condemn him — pray for him."
