The "Counting On" stars Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband Austin Forsyth were happy to announce their first baby last year. Months into her pregnancy, and with the new year just starting, fans are wondering about any updates on the baby. Recently, the couple has replied.

The Duggar family uploaded a blog post on their family website, and it did give some updates on how the baby is doing. All is well, that is for sure. However, now that she is nearly past her second trimester, they should have confirmed the gender of the baby. Fans and even the parents themselves have been guessing if it is going to be a baby boy or a baby girl.

Unfortunately, they chose not to discover it. "Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth are approaching their eight-month wedding anniversary which means it won't be long before they welcome their first child into the world," read the blog post. "Baby Forsyth is due around the beginning of March, and although the expectant parents could have found out the gender weeks ago, they have chosen to be surprised."

Fans of the Duggar family would not exactly be surprised at this. The Duggar daughters have always kept the gender of their baby a secret even from themselves.

The blog post has been filled with comments from fans predicting the first Forsythe baby's gender. As for the parents themselves, Forsythe thinks that it is going to be a girl just because there have been too many boys in the family, as per International Business Times. Duggar, on the other hand, thinks the baby is going to be a boy.

Whatever the gender is, fans are just happy the baby is doing well. As for when everyone can expect the baby to greet the world, the blog post did say early March, so it should be around then.
