The game set in an alternate history real-time strategy (RTS) game, "Iron Harvest," has been showing promise, as seen in a concept from a gameplay shared just recently. The video gameplay update featured a lot of explosions, the new features they have added, and the overall terrain and environment of the game.

The beginning of the video may bring nostalgic memories from the "Command and Conquer" games such as "Generals" and "Zero Hour," with the first scene showing a train seemingly going through the middle of a war. Buildings explode and get turned into rubble on the ground. The cover in the game is actually even dynamic.

As the video explains, the cover can be destroyed and rebuilt based on the explosions happening. There is even one scene that shows a squad running through terrain with a giant mech on their side. Speaking of squads, this is just one of the many new features the video mentions they have added.

Aside from squads, the complete list of features includes "pathfinding, "weapons & armor," "damage types, "user interface," "controls," and "about a dozen other systems." As for how these all go in the game is yet to be featured most likely in the next gameplay update. By then, the developers hope to release some actual gameplay footage. One of the next things they will be working on soon is the one-versus-one multiplayer.

As for the existence of the mechs in this alternate history, this is apparently the work of one genius, Nikola Tesla. Not much is known yet either about the plot of the game, but Tesla will surely be a big part of it. While the video shows one mech, there will be expectedly different kinds of mech to be featured soon.

The lack of details on the gameplay can still be credited to how the game is still in pre-alpha. The game is at least getting a lot of good progress. No official release date has been announced, yet but the game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
