iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak release update: Download may not be coming as iOS 9.3 rolling out soon?

Fans are still waiting for the release of a jailbreak version of Apple's iOS 9.2.1. However, it seems that development teams may forego this version and instead jump to an iOS jailbreak for the upcoming 9.3 full version.

According to Vine Report, it has already been some time since fans last saw an update about an upcoming iOS jailbreak from the different jailbreak development teams. The latest update about the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak came from an individual developer, Luca Todesco, who has allegedly made a successful jailbreak from the iOS 9.2.1 version.

However, Todesco said he will not publishing his jailbreak tool to the public and only came out with the successful project to let people know, particularly the development teams, that it can be done.

There are speculations that the jailbreak development teams are having a hard time breaking into the new iOS full versions, as Apple has reportedly installed stricter and more robust security features against hacking.

Meanwhile, the Cupertino-based company has already seeded a number of beta versions for the upcoming iOS 9.3, and the full version may soon follow. Some observers say that this is the reason why fans have yet to see an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak, as development teams are reportedly waiting for the full iOS 9.3 version before releasing a jailbreak.

Should this be proven true, this will not be the first time that development teams like Pangu and TaiG has skipped an iOS version in favor of the current one. According to Download Pangu, when Apple released iOS 9.1, fans expected the Pangu team to come out with an iOS jailbreak immediately. However, the beta versions of iOS 9.2 started arriving, and Pangu skipped iOS 9.1 and different developers came out with their iOS 9.2.0 version hacks.

Meanwhile, iOS 9.3 beta is currently already working for some testers, both its public and developer versions, so fans will see the full version released soon.
