'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I' update: Jennifer Lawrence faces extreme pressure as Katniss Everdeen

"Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I" is currently filming its first installment and so far, so many thrilling updates have already been revealed.

First off, multiple reports confirmed that the film's lead actress, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the role of Katniss Everdeen, is faced with extreme pressure to live up to the expectations of fans.

As part of her role in the film, Lawrence will be tasked to take on new challenges to help save civilization. However, the infamous arena where Katniss and Peeta Mellark normally show their eagerness to save their people will no longer be featured in the upcoming film.

Director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson explained what this means to "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One.

"The stakes are always high in this story, and in Mockingjay 1, the entire world opens up," Lawrence told Yahoo Movies. "The 'Games' are gone, and the threat of oppression permeates all of Panem. You will see entirely new locations with really large action sequences as the uprising spreads across all of the districts. It really is a gigantic movie."

Adding to this, actress Julianne Moore, who plays the role of President Alma Coin, explained how Katniss' character is unable to always get things together despite being the alleged "hero" in the movie.

"She's a real girl and she also has some more ambiguity." Moore shared in a recent Hunger Games trailer video.

Talking about the biggest trials other characters in the film would have to face, Moore explained, "Hope is about possibility, hope is about change and it's about having personal power. So I think if the characters in Mockingjay or anywhere in The Hunger Games are hopeless, that means they don't feel they can affect change."

Meanwhile, one of the film's actors, Liam Hemsworth, was spotted limping on his way to a doctor's office, while being escorted by an assistant. His injury was most likely suffered during the filming of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay," Entertainment Wise surmised.
