It seems that Huawei is now on an all-systems-go mode for its upcoming flagship launch as official images of the P9 appear online.

GSM Arena has posted images of the upcoming Huawei P9, and the close-up pictures detail the body and outside design of the new flagship follow-up. In addition to the new official images, the launch page for the Huawei P9 has also gone live, complete with a countdown timer for its April 6 launch.

The official images join teasers and leaks for the upcoming flagship. Just recently, it was speculated that a working version of the Huawei P9, the final consumer version, has already been released to a handful of people, including a Huawei executive.

One of the focuses of the teasers for the upcoming Huawei P9 is its dual-cam setup, and the leaked official images also highlight the upcoming flagship's back panel. Although Huawei has yet to officially confirm the camera setup's specs, it is already expected that the Huawei P9 will have at least two lenses for its main camera on the back. Previous leaks already pointed out the new feature, and Huawei itself has been hinting at a dual-cam setup with its "#OO" tags in P9 teasers.

Although Huawei has yet to come out with an official specs sheet, fans already expect the Huawei P9 to feature top-tier specs. According to rumors, the upcoming flagship will carry a Kirin 950 chipset with at least 3GB of RAM. In addition, there will be at least four specs sheets for the new flagship since it is also expected that instead of a single flagship, the Huawei P9 will be launched as a full lineup. Aside from the base model, there will also be a Huawei P9 Lite, a P9 Max, and an unnamed premium version of the flagship with at least 4GB of RAM.
