Huawei P9 release date, specs, features: Pricing for 4 Huawei P9 variants leaked

The launch of the Huawei P9 is fast approaching. And prior to the unveiling, more details are cropping up regarding the upcoming flagship. This time, speculations suggest that the four variants under the new lineup already have their price tags listed.

According to Android Headlines, the April 6 launch of the Huawei P9 is already set in stone since aside from the company already confirming the event, more supposed details are leaking online. Reportedly, the new lineup already has the prices listed by the company.

The industry follower listed the base P9 model as having a 3088-yuan price tag, around $477. Meanwhile, the entry-level Huawei P9 Lite is expected to be available for 1,888 yuan ($292), the larger Huawei P9 Plus is said to carry a 3,688 yuan price tag ($570), while the premium iteration in the lineup, the Huawei P9 Max phablet, can be purchased for 4,088 yuan ($633).

However, Huawei has yet to come out with an official statement about the P9's details, including its pricing, and confirmation will most likely come out during the April 6 event.

The Huawei P9 has been making the rounds online lately, building up the interest in its top-tier specs and features. According to speculations, the new lineup will feature a new Kirin 955 chipset with at least 4GB of RAM for the base model and will have 64GB of internal storage. In addition, Huawei keeps teasing fans with the P9's dual-cam setup on the back, said to be one of the focus features of the upcoming flagship. In terms of performance, the Huawei P9 has been rumored to have been to various benchmark sites, the latest being AnTuTu. Reportedly, the Huawei P9 got an above-average score of 96,043.
