It is only a matter of hours before Huawei unveils its newest flagship, the P9 lineup. However, supposed leaks continue to float online. Latest images of the Huawei P9 have surfaced anew, seemingly confirming more details about the iteration.

According to GSM Arena, a leaked render of the back panel of the upcoming Huawei P9 is making the rounds online. Reportedly, the back panel shows the dual camera setup of the upcoming flagship, a detail already confirmed by Huawei in a previous statement as well as image teasers for the new iteration.

In addition to the dual-cam setup, the leaked back panel shows a fingerprint scanner, which is already an expected feature of the P9. While Huawei did not confirm a fingerprint sensor in earlier leaks, the Huawei P9 is a flagship, and fans are expecting that the iteration comes with top-tier specs, including biometrics security.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena says that the leaked back panel also confirms another detail of the upcoming flagship – its camera assembly. Previous rumors suggested that Huawei has partnered with Leica for a premium camera setup for the Huawei P9, and the back panel proves it. The leaked image shows the dual-cam setup as having a Leica branding, complete with the camera lenses' specs. The camera assembly also confirms that the Huwaei P9 will come with LED flash and laser autofocus features, as the modules are seen between the camera lenses and the Leica brand name.

Huawei is gearing up for the April 6 launch of the Huawei P9. While there is no confirmation yet of its internals, a specs sheet of the upcoming flagship has already made its way online. According to rumors, the Huawei P9 will carry a Kirin 950 or a Kirin 955 processor and at least 3GB of RAM. It is also already confirmed that Huawei intends for the P9 to be a flagship lineup since the launch is for four versions of the device.
