It seems that it is all systems go for the HTC 10 launch as the upcoming flagship has been seen acing the FCC certification requirement.

According to TechTimes, the FCC has already approved and granted certification to the HTC 10. Interestingly, the certification body approved two models of the upcoming flagship, 2PS6200 and 2PS6500. While this is not a direct confirmation, this further fuels speculations that HTC plans to come out with at least two versions of the flagship, a base model and a premium version.

It may also come to pass that the second version will not be seen for some time, since there are also rumors that HTC is cooking up an HTC 10 mini for a September release.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena says that the FCC approval is a step closer to the HTC 10's confirmed launch, as fans are already expecting the April 12 reveal to be set in stone. According to the industry observer, the HTC 10 is one of the most awaited flagships for this year. Aside from HTC itself building up the flagship iteration through a number of teasers and hints, leaks that continue to crop up paint the HTC 10 to be a powerful, performance-driven flagship.

In a separate report, the industry follower stated that the device reportedly scored 156,091 on AnTutu. The score is high above those of other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the LG G5.

Rumored specs of the HTC 10 include a Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with at least 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. Meanwhile, the camera assembly for the upcoming HTC 10 is also touted by the tech giant to be "world first, world class, front and back."
