While HTC has already unveiled its latest flagship offering, the HTC 10, the iteration remains unreleased. However, speculations suggest that the new flagship will be seen on the markets when the global release commences early next month.

According to GSM Arena, one of the confirmed release dates for the HTC 10 will be its roll-out in Australia. Reportedly, the new HTC flagship will release in the region on May 3, with a price tag of AUD 1,080. This puts it at least AUD 200 less than other flagships in the region like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The release is reportedly for an unlocked, global version. It is unclear if mobile carriers in Australia will pick up the new flagship.

Meanwhile, the HTC 10 will also allegedly release for the UK, as Android Central reports that the new flagship is now listed as a device under mobile carrier Three. The carrier has already opened pre-orders for the new flagship, with estimated release date of May 6. However, instead of the lineup, only the 32-GB storage version will be available. It will come out as part of the £38 monthly contract, and there is an upfront fee of £49 for the device. The HTC 10 will also be available for higher contracts, such as the £57 one with unlimited usage.

The HTC 10 is the recently-revealed flagship unveiled earlier this month. The new lineup carries a top-tier Snapdragon 820 processor, paired with 4 GB of RAM. Meanwhile, one of the things that HTC changed with its new flagship is the design. The HTC 10 has a slim profile since it switched to USB Type-C port. The chamfered edges also made the display seem larger. As for the screen itself, HTC used Super 5 LCD display, with Quad HD resolution. HTC also went back to an UltraPixel setup for its cameras.
