Houston Texans vs San Diego Chargers live stream: Watch online NFL 2013 on ESPN

Monday Night Football will see the Houston Texans take on the San Diego Chargers in the second of tonight's big week 1 NFL 2013 regular season games.

The Texans will be huge favorites in tonight's game, and many fancy them as potential Super Bowl contenders this season. The Chargers meanwhile have had a torrid time of late, and in recent seasons have fallen away from repeatedly competing for the postseason to being just also-rans.

Both teams, however, will want to get their seasons off to the best possible start, and the Chargers will believe that they can silence many of their critics with a shock win over the Texans tonight. If they can manage that, they will be able to build confidence through their team and look with optimism at the new season. However, if they surrender limply tonight it could send heads down and signal a long season ahead for San Diego.

The Chargers have certainly been written off this season, and have move things to a new head coach in Mike McCoy and new offensive and defensive systems.

However, even their biggest doubters will admit that the team has talent, and if they gel together early on in the season they could surprise people yet.

But their challenge is immense today. The Texans are undoubtedly one of the best teams in the NFL this season. They have a powerhouse defense that even the best offenses will find tough this year. The Chargers' offense was terrible last season and they will need to have significantly fixed things up in that department if they are to even compete tonight.

Monday Night Football from the Qualcomm Stadium inSan Diego, Calif. Will start at 10.20 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on ESPN on online through live stream by clicking here.
