'House of Cards' season 4 release date, spoilers: Premiere could unite Frank and Claire

"House of Cards" season 3 ended with Claire (Robin Wright) walking out of Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) life. It was previously reported that the couple may reunite as they find a common enemy in the newly introduced couple that will be visiting the United States, but it appears they may unite even earlier than that.

According to a report from Yibada, the couple might be together during the season 4 premiere. However, there is no indication as to why the shaky couple might be working together, although fans speculate that this is merely a move to prevent their public reputation from going down.

There is also the chance that the foreign couple that will present a sort of powerplay against Frank and Claire will be making their entrance during the premiere episode and this would force Frank and Claire to set aside their differences as they attempt to fight back.

It was also previously reported that the public might already be aware of their relationship problems and that Claire would be adopting a young girl as a form of publicity stunt to make the masses believe she and Frank are still together and are still in a healthy relationship. The previous report pointed to a casting call that supports this theory.

Of course there is also the rumor that none of this is true and that Claire would actually run against Frank during the Presidential election. Unfortunately, there are no interviews or other evidence to support this rumor other than the fact that Claire made it clear during the season 3 finale that she doesn't need Frank in order to succeed.

"House of Cards" season 4 has already begun production. However, Netflix has not yet announced an official release date for the series. The series is known to release its episodes during February although further delays might see season 4 release during March.
