'Heroes of the Storm' Winter Veil event underway

 Battle Net

It's the holiday season even inside the Nexus as "Heroes of the Storm" introduces players to its Winter Veil event.

As can be expected with any holiday-themed event, Winter Veil will be adding a variety of items for players to try out inside "Heroes of the Storm."

First off, players will be getting a new mount for free during this holiday season. The Festive Treasure Goblin Mount will be completely free to "Heroes of the Storm" players.

The new mount will be available to players all throughout Winter Veil, although players cannot actually purchase or even unlock it in any way, according to Gamespot. The Festive Treasure Goblin Mount will also be leaving at the end of Winter Veil, so players will want to try it out while it's still there.

Aside from the Festive Treasure Goblin Mount, there will also be holiday-themed character skins coming to the Nexus.

According to Battle Net, two new character skins, with those being Greatfather Winter Stitches and Sugarplum Sylvanas, will now be available to "Heroes of the Storm" players.

Both of the new skins will be available at a 50 percent discount until the end of 2015.

Players can also opt to get the two new skins and their characters as part of a new bundle.

The holiday skins for two more characters, Great-father Winter Rehgar and Winter Veil Jaina will also be made available yet again. The Reign-Deer mount will also be available during the course of the Winter Veil event.

All of the holiday skins, their base characters, and the Reign-Deer mount will also be made available to "Heroes of the Storm" players as part of the Winter Veil 2015 Ultimate Bundle.

Lastly, folks who will play 15 games during the Winter Veil event will receive a four day Stimpack, while those who will play in 50 will receive a 10-day Stimpack inside "Heroes of the Storm."
