'GTA V' PS4 and Xbox One next gen release date: Will the PS4 come out earlier?

Last year, the "Grand Theft Auto V" was launched around this time too. And if you're a player, you'll know first-hand what a huge success the game is. Since that time, Rockstar has been working to get "GTA V" on the next gen consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. Now a year later, we're inching closer to the launch of "GTA V" in these consoles.

However, an accidental leak shows that the launch of "GTA V" for PS4 may happen earlier, two weeks earlier to be exact. GamePlan, a German website, took a screenshot for a pre-order of "GTA V" for PS4. The screenshot showed that it will be launched two weeks before the Xbox One. The listing has since been taken down by Sony. But still, the game is seen in the download queue, which makes everyone question if an early launch will really happen.

According to LazyGamer, the download queue showed that "GTA V" PS4 will launch on November 4. Meanwhile, the official release date for the new versions is on November 18. One possible explanation for the early release date could be an exclusive timed offer from Sony—something that PS4 owners would really love.

However, the pre-order leak didn't just reveal the early launch date. It also gave a peek at the PS4 content like cash bonus and a couple of downloadable multiplayer items for sale. There were no details indicating what these items are.

While this news can get everyone excited, do know that this is still unconfirmed. The listing leak is obviously an accident and it could mean exactly just that—a mistake. But of course, if the news is true then this means that PS4 owners have a two week head start. If it doesn't, it's just a two week wait anyway. As for the PC port, it will come out January 27th 2015.
