'GTA Online' contents coming this holiday season - what to expect

This coming holiday season looks like it will be a bountiful one for "Grand Theft Auto 5" (GTA 5) players.

More specifically, fans of "Grand Theft Auto Online" (GTA Online) are the ones who can expect to receive a lot of new toys to play around with in the game.

According to Express UK, up to five new cars could be added just in time for the holidays. All of the cars that will be added can also be customized via Benny's Original Motor Works, presumably allowing players to show off their holiday spirit through their new rides.

Rumors of new cars being added to the game have been around for months, and while Rockstar has yet to confirm any of the reports, the developer has hinted that the current collection of vehicles inside the game is not yet complete.

Aside from the additional cars coming to GTA Online players will also reportedly receive a variety of new clothing options.

For what it's worth, some noted GTA 5 tipsters have also predicted that there will be two distinct downloadable content (DLC) packs coming to the game for the holidays.

One of the DLC packs is expected to be the sequel to this year's "Lowriders" content, while another one will presumably contain a variety of Christmas-themed goodies, iDigital Times reported.

It's unclear if the rumored cars coming to GTA Online will be part of either pack, although it would be tough to imagine Rockstar releasing three separate DLC packs within the span of one month.

It's also believed that the Christmas and "Lowriders part two" packs will be released at the same time, with the former possibly featuring timed content that will expire sometime early next year.

Rockstar has remained silent on the subject of DLC packs for now, but if the rumors are true, then December might prove to be a good month for GTA Online players.
