Google DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) is down: Global outage reported (update)

Google's Doubleclick for Publishers (DFP) service is currently down, which is affecting businesses and advertisers around the world.

The system is currently suffering a global outage, which began around 9 a.m. ET this morning. Those affected are advertising clients using the search engine's DFP.

Google has not yet addressed the issue. However, reports are emerging online about the outage, with users taking to Twitter to address the issue. In a Google forum, some publishers reported receiving this response: "We're addressing as a "P0" extremely critical issue across DFP. We don't have a timeline at this moment but I hope to have a timeline/resolution very soon."

Doubleclick for Publishers (DFP) is an ad management solution that helps growing publishers sell, schedule, deliver, and measure all of their digital ad inventory.

As Google rushes to solve the ad server problem, publishers relying on Google's DFP are losing thousands in advertising revenue. Websites relying on the service are also experiencing loading issues.
