"Game of Thrones" star Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth in the show, recently shared his thoughts about the fan theories surrounding the season 8. Meanwhile, Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo earlier in the series, expressed his excitement for the final season.
A recent video published by Rolling Stone had Cunningham react to some of the wildest fan theories ever made for "Game of Thrones" season 8. However, he started by saying that he did not have the script for season 8 yet.
This is actually a response to the first fan theory he encountered, being that his character Seaworth will not survive the eighth season. He answered by saying that folks at HBO have not sent him the script yet, despite them promising to send the texts "this week."
In any case, Cunningham discussed some fan theories enthusiastically. He was asked if a battle will happen when Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke) discover that they are related. The "Game of Thrones" star expressed that he is more interested in knowing how the Mother of Dragons will respond.
"When [Targaryen] finds out she's not the boss, it's going to be... I'm interested to find out where her head will be," Cunningham said.
He also expressed that he likes the idea of his character Seaworth going back to smuggling. A fan theorized that the final scene for Seaworth would be him and Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage) on a boat, riding off into the sunset. Cunningham also stated that he liked that idea if ever it will materialize in the next season.
Meanwhile, Momoa recently visited the "Game of Thrones" set and admitted that he was completely blown away.
Entertainment Weekly reported that Momoa accidentally stumbled upon the secrets of season 8. While the actor will not give away spoilers, he can only say that the eighth season of "Game of Thrones" is "going to be the greatest thing that's ever aired on TV."
"Game of Thrones" season 8 is expected to air sometime in 2019.
