The cast and crew of the highly successful animated film Frozen will be reuniting for another heart-warming adventure in the spring of 2015. Although it's not going to be a full-length feature film, the short film entitled "Frozen Fever" will feature the same characters that kids and adults saw and loved in the original movie.

According to Disney's Insider blog, "From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes the new animated short "Frozen Fever," welcoming back to the big screen Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and, of course, the one-and-only Olaf."

"In 'Frozen Fever,' it's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk," the blog revealed.

The announcement was made in "The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic," an ABC Television Network Special which aired on Sept. 2. It has been revealed that the talents behind the original movie are also responsible for the short film. Produced by Peter del Vecho, Frozen Fever is directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and the husband-and-wife team, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, penned an original song for the film.

Frozen currently holds the title for the highest-grossing animated film of all time (followed by Toy Story 3 and The Lion King) and the fifth highest grossing film of all time (following Avatar, Titanic, The Avengers, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2) having earned over $1.2 billion in the box office. The movie earned numerous awards, including two Academy Awards (Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song), a Golden Globe (Best Animated Feature Film), and a BAFTA (Best Animated Film) just to name a few.
