Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman, who portrayed each other's love interests in "Revenge," have announced their engagement.

VanCamp announced the engagement via an Instagram post, in which she uploaded of photo of her with her face covered by her hands. While the photo was only captioned by a heart emoji, her social media followers were quick to notice that her left hand bore a diamond engagement ring.

In an interview with Australian publication InStyle, VanCamp talked about her relationship with Bowman, saying, "I have a wonderful love in my life."

She also revealed in the interview that she wanted to start a family. She said, "I find myself dreaming about [having children] all the time." She continued, "In your late 20s, you start to realize you can't call yourself a baby anymore."

The couple met on the set of "Revenge," which ran from 2011 to 2015. They have been dating for five years prior to the announcement of their engagement, although they have kept their relationship private.

While the two had a dysfunctional relationship on "Revenge," with Daniel Grayson, Bowman's character, even shooting VanCamp's Emily Thorne at one point in the story, she revealed in an interview with Elle Canada that their real-life relationship is much better than that. However, she admitted that it was difficult for her family to watch their on-screen relationship on the show.

After "Revenge," VamCamp was cast as Sharon Carter in the "Captain America" movies. She is also part of "The Resident," a medical drama that was just picked up by Fox. Bowman, meanwhile, was last seen in "Time after Time," a show loosely based on H.G. Wells, "The Time Machine," which aired on ABC. Unfortunately, it was pulled out after only five episodes due to low ratings.

The couple has not yet announced when their wedding will take place.
