Floyd Mayweather's ex-fiancee Shantel Jackson will not be by his side tonight as he goes up against Marcos Maidana to defend his Welterweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
On May 1, Mayweather took to his Facebook to accuse Jackson of aborting their twin babies. He posted a photo of an alleged sonogram on his official Facebook page, and explained to his fans the real reason for breaking up with his ex fiancee. "The real reason me and Shantel Christine Jackson @missjackson broke up was because she got a abortion, and I'm totally against killing babies. She killed our twin babies. #ShantelJackson #FloydMayweather #TheMoneyTeam #TMT"
The Facebook post has since been deleted.
The 37-year-old boxer reportedly took further shots at his ex in a recent interview with V-103, in which he did not express any regret for the Facebook post. He said, "It hurt my feelings, all because she's selfish because all she's worried about is looks, talking about 'I don't want to mess my body up.' Everything you got on your body, I paid for so it's okay."
He continued, "Even if you had the babies, if you wanted me to put you back together like I did in the beginning, I could've done it again."
Mayweather and Jackson dated for four years before breaking off their relationship over a year ago.
In July 2013, Mayweather shared pictures on Instagram with women's shoes and handbags. "Up late,Face Timing with my Mom telling her to come get these BIRKIN bags so I can have some room on my sofa #HERMES," he wrote in the caption of a photo showing multiple designer handbags lined up on a sofa. He then followed up the first photo by posting snapshots of over a dozen designer shoes and handbags. "This new venture is by both me and @MissJackson. Coming soon."
The items could have been the expensive gifts given to Jackson by Mayweather.
Shantel Jackson is a model and aspiring actress who is known by the name Miss Jackson. She studied acting and psychology at Miami Dade and the University of Miami and has a passion for fashion design.
Prior to their breakup, Jackson was always seen cheering on Mayweather from the ringside.
