'Five Nights at Freddy's' spinoff game news: 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator' now out

Previously, "Five Nights at Freddy's" game series creator Scott Cawthon released a teaser for a new game that he had been working on. Now, fans can finally play the new "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Simulator" for free.

The name of the game is pretty much straightforward. For those who have not tried playing the game yet, besides its horror aspect to it, there is a story that can be quite hard to piece together throughout the games. Nevertheless, it revolves around a pizzeria with the same name as the spinoff game.

The screenshots of the game show low-quality graphics, but fans should rest assured that these are all intentional. The minigames that happen at certain nights in the original series had the same kind of graphics. Simply put, the screenshots suggest that it is a pretty straightforward game of a bear, Freddy Fazbear, handing out pizza slices to kids.

However, considering how "Five Night's at Freddy's" had a lot of jumpscares and unexpected animatronics coming at the player, it would be no surprise if there are similar features in this new spinoff game. In fact, reading the reviews, players who have already tried it are already warning gamers that it is not what the screenshots suggest, as per PC Gamer. Some of them already spoiled the game, but it is ultimately a different experience for gamers to play and experience it themselves.

"I REFUSE to let an entire year go by without a game release, so I'm putting together something fun for all of you for the holidays," said Cawthon last week in a Steam update post. "Maybe I'll try my hand at a pizzeria tycoon game, who knows." He made the announcement after also announcing that the sixth game for the original series has been cancelled.
