Elin Nordegren breaks silence on Tiger Woods' new girlfriend, moving on

Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren has broken her four-year silence regarding her split from the famed golfer.

In the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, Nordegren discusses getting along with Woods' new girlfriend, healing after his betrayal, and her new relationship.

Nordegren, a former model and nanny, married Woods in October 2004. They have a six-year-old daughter, Sam Alexis, and a five-year-old son, Charlie Axel.

From 2009 to 2010, dozens of women claimed to have had affairs with the golf champion, and Woods publicly admitted to multiple affairs in February 2010. The couple divorced six months later.

In her first interview in four years, the Swedish beauty said that she and her ex-husband have a great relationship for their children's sake.

"My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good—we really are—and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father," she told PEOPLE.

After the divorce, Nordegren finished her college studies, and graduated May 10, 2014 with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Florida's Rollins College. For her 3.96 GPA, she was honored with the Hamilton Holt Outstanding Senior Award.

In a commencement speech, the mother of two expressed the importance of education to her fellow graduates.

"Education has been the only consistent part of my life the last nine years," she said. "And it has offered me comfort. Education is one thing that no one can take away from you."

Nordegren told reporters that she visits a psychologist weekly, and is accepting Woods' girlfriend of 15 months, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.

"I'm happy for Tiger," she said. "In general, in any kind of step-parent relationship, I'm happy that there's somebody else loving my children."

She is also in a relationship of her own. Nordegren has been dating billionaire mining entrepreneur Chris Cline for 14 months.

Nordegren is not ruling out remarrying and having more children, but said, "I have a boy and a girl and I couldn't ask for anything more."
