Ed Sheeran news: British singer describes his collaboration with Eminem as 'highlight of my career'

Grammy Awards winner Ed Sheeran said working with world renowned rapper Eminem is the highlight of his career. Sheeran is part of Eminem's new album "Revival."

During an interview with The Times, Sheeran said collaborating with the Academy Awards recipient is a huge turning point in his career. Sheeran described the experience as the "highlight of my career." The "Perfect" singer worked with Eminem in his new track, "River." Sheeran recently posted a picture of him and Eminem in the studio together on his Instagram account.

The track list of Eminem's new album came as a surprise with all the featured artists like Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Pink, and more. Sheeran's statement is truly a testament to the reputation Eminem had made in the music industry. The year 2017 is a big year for Sheeran with the release of his third studio album "Divide." Another big music release in 2017 is Sheeran's "Perfect" duet with Queen B aka Beyonce.

The English singer also collaborated with her good friend and another Grammy recipient Taylor Swift in the latter's latest album.

More exciting news for Sheeran fans. The artist talked about his plans of a new album to be released in the future. Sheeran also revealed that he is planning on a lo-fi album for his next project. "My Plan is a lo-fi album that will be my lowest selling, but most loved." Sheeran also revealed that his inspiration for the album is a song by a music legend. Sherran said Bruce Springsteen's 1982 song "Nebraska" motivated him to pursue a different direction. Sheeran has not mentioned much about the content of his new album and its release date.

Lo-fi music is different compared to the contemporary standards when it comes to quality.

Sheeran already laid out his tour schedule for 2018, and he will roam across several countries.
