Bioware/ Electronic Arts and LucasArts have something new for Star Wars fans: "Shadow of Revan," a story-driven digital expansion pack for "Star Wars: The Old Republic," is set to be released on Dec. 9, and it will feature five new adventure levels for the story-mode missions, with cap increase of up to level 60. Players can explore new worlds, namely the dangerous pirate haven called Rishi, located at the edge of the galaxy, as well as the home of the Massassi warriors called Yavin 4.

Players who pre-order the expansion pack by Dec. 1 will get an exclusive grand statue of the main antagonist Revan, which they can display in Player Strongholds, as well as a digital expansion of the "Rise of Hutt Cartel." As a bonus, those with an active subscription during the pre-order period will also gain 12 times experience boost up to level 55, which is exclusive to the Class story missions.

Those who pre-order before Nov. 2 will get the above as well as access to the game starting Dec. 2, a week ahead of everyone else.

With the expansion, players get to enjoy playing with friends in the multiplayer mode with new flashpoints (two role-neutral and four hard mode), plus 10 hard-to-defeat bosses in two Level 60 ops. They can also unlock new vehicles and Revanite gear.

The description for the games reads:

In the Shadow of Revan, a long-hidden sect of extremists has emerged from the ongoing war between the Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic. This group is led by Revan, the former hero of the Jedi Civil War. These fanatical "Revanites" are gathering an army with an apocalyptic plan that will leave the Republic and the Empire in ashes. Players will prepare to face Revan and adventure alongside a host of intriguing characters, including Theron Shan, Lana Beniko, and Jakarro the Wookiee."

"Shadow of Revan" is now available for pre-order for $19.99.
