"Destiny 2" just came out a few months ago, and it has seen an increasingly huge player base since then. With the game just releasing more and more updates, it seems like the developers have already planned out how the game will be in the future. A long and detailed blog post about what is to come in the next several months has been shared.

The game's director, Christopher Barrett, recently explained the next few updates. The first one, which will be released on Jan. 30, shows that the Masterwork system will now finally include armor. The Masterwork armor can be upgraded using Cores and Shards. If players are not satisfied with the stats it offers, they can re-roll to possibly get a better one.

Another major change in the Jan. 30 update is the rewards gained from the Raids. "They will not feature mods with Raid-specific perks, and we are adjusting the rewards to ensure a Raid item drops from each major counter," reads the blog post. "The Raid vendor will also directly sell Leviathan and Eater of Worlds armor and weapons for purchase with Raid tokens and Legendary Shards."

After Jan. 30, the next update is set in February. This time, it will focus on Nightfall Strikes, adding a scoring system and a sort of leaderboard for the scores. Players of the previous "Destiny" will find this familiar as it is quite similar. Although for "Destiny 2," the blog post mentions that it will focus on Strike objectives and player selectable score modifiers.

The February update will also give the mods a 2.0 version completely reworking the feature. According to the post, the rework will be done to provide more unique themes in the game and to give more options in increasing the player's power. While this is called the February update, for now, it may also get delayed to early Spring.

While the blog post contains a lot of details for future updates, the ones in the further months are still quite vague. It is still interesting to note that there are a lot of changes to happen in the game in 2018.
