'Days of Our Lives' spoilers:Chad and Abby get close, JJ admits truth to Paige

In "Days of Our Lives," scheming and manipulation continue.  Sami still doesn't know what happened to her husband, EJ DiMera, and this week, she seeks help in investigating EJ's murder.  As usual, the other characters have something up their sleeves, too.

Sami grieving

Sami is still grieving and mourning her husband's passing, but Lucas and Kate try to talk sense into her — that the situation is more serious than she believes. So, Sami and Kate seek help from someone unexpected.

In an unexpected moment, Sami and Nicole's drama takes a breather this week. While the two are better off fighting against one another, Sami and Nicole share a drink and have a warm moment together.

Kristen's plan

Kristen needs information on Theresa so she manipulates her way into getting the details from Anne and Eve, reports She Knows Soaps. Kristen is very determined and Eve can tell. Eve warns Theresa about Kristen.

Kristen experiences some setbacks with her quest for Brady, but she easily overcomes them. Also, Jennifer sees Kristen in Daniel's room.

Other spoilers

This week, JJ rejects Paige but he admits the truth about his father to her. As for Eve's plan against JJ, she experiences some setbacks, too.

Chad and Abigail share a moment, and things take a turn before the week ends. Jordan and Clyde also have their warm moment together.

But while the budding romances are starting to blossom, Sonny and Will find themselves not seeing eye-to-eye this week. Apparently, Sonny doesn't like Will's article about Chad.

According to She Knows Soaps, actress Alison Sweeney is already preparing for her exit from "Days of Our Lives." Her character Sami's last air date will be on Oct. 30. Sami might just be leaving Salem for good.
